The Department of Education offers a range of student transport programs to help ease the pressure of students getting to school.
These include school buses, conveyance allowance, public transport concessions and special school transport assistance.
School buses
The school bus network supplies free bus transport to students in regional Victoria who do not have alternative transport options.
In order for your child to be eligible he or she must attend the nearest school and your home must be more than 4.8km away from that school via the most practical route.

Applying to travel on school buses
To apply to travel on a school bus complete and return the relevant application form below.

New or changed bus services
To apply for a new bus service or variation to an existing service, schools must complete and return the relevant form below.
• TR101 – Application for new school bus service • TR201 – Application for variation to school bus service
