School Facilities

The regional office provides advice and support to schools to provide and maintain safe and secure school environments for students, staff and the wider community. Advice and support is also provided for new facilities programs and opportunities for environmental improvements.

The term “facilities” refer to the site, building, equipment fitment and furniture that comprise the physical school environment.

Core facilities programs include:

  • Integration (Works Program)
  • Regional Supplementation Reserve
  • Relocatable Transfer
  • School Maintenance
  • Capital Works Upgrade (Building Futures)
  • Disaster Reinstatement

School Resources Division

School Resources Division is part of the Department’s Office of Resources and Infrastructure. Its mission is to ensure that schools are supported in their abilities to deliver contemporary curriculum through the development of appropriate infrastructure.
