SCHOOL AND KINDERGARTEN CLOSURES UPDATE - Sun 1 Mar 12:30hrs

One school will be closed in Gippsland on Monday 2 March.
Due to fire activity in the area the following school will remain closed from Monday 2 March:
1. Labertouche Primary School
School buses will be cancelled as follows:
The following bus services will not operate due to road closures or partial road closures affecting school bus access. Some schools may be unsafe for school buses to travel to, due to roads requiring to be cleared and inspected by VicRoads:
Monday 2 March
School buses will be cancelled for Monday as follows due to road closures, partial road closures, and potential fire impact:
1. All buses in the following networks:
• Hazelwood North Primary School
• Traralgon South Primary School
2. Individual school bus routes within the following networks:
• Drouin Secondary College
Tonimbuk – Bunyip – Drouin
Labertouche – Drouin
All transfers at interchange sites will operate as per normal
• Bunyip Primary School
Tonimbuk - Bunyip
• Kurnai College
Hazelwood North – Morwell
Parents are advised to refer to the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development Gippsland Region website www.gippsland.vic.edu.au to confirm school bus operations.
Kindergartens
All kindergartens are now open.
Parents are reminded to listen to ABC local radio for regular fire updates. |
