The Gippsland 0-School Entry project assists early childhood and school staff across the region to meet together to identify how best to support children, families and professionals through the transition to school.
Gippsland Region has a suite of support materials available relating to transition and school readiness.
The Transition Working Party of the Gippsland Early Childhood Intervention Advisory Network has developed a booklet to assist parents of children with a developmental delay or disability.
The Moving to School booklet provides a guide to the range of school options available, planning for the transition to school and the variety of supports available.
The Best Practice Transition Kit is a pilot resource kit developed by the Gippsland Early Childhood Intervention Advisory Network to support early childhood service professionals assist families and children make successful transitions from home into childcare, kindergarten and school.
